The lastest post always seems to have unusally large sized font when viewed in Internet Explorer. Now as a web developer we are advised never to say “Best viewed in - *insert browser here*” as that would be bad practise and would prevent us from creating content that is accesible to everyone on all browsers. That being said …… why do we even use internet explorer!?!?!? It has so many issues and problems … the main of which is that it’s slow and has quite a few web compatibility issues. The other reasons why is for another rant. Use Mozilla Firefox ……. it may save your life …… or at least your life on the web. And now a convenient link http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and a portable version you can use on your flash that will store your settings, bookmarks, etc on your flashdrive no matter what pc you use it on http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable . Yes …….. shameless promotion is the way of the future XD. 

Well I haven’t posted in some time and that’s cause I'm very busy…….. playing Halo … and Battlefield ……. and more or less wasting time.  I realized that I would have to do over a small piece of the main site layout after I got some suggestions from one of my good friends, who by the way is getting married (Congrats Talitha ^_^” ). So it looks like I'm gonna have to modify the theme a bit. However seeing that it took a year and 5 months to actually start the new theme, 2 months to finish it (of which about 3 weeks were actually spent working on it ), this more less shows my pattern of work …….. which is do a piece, leave and finish it later …. like in about a few months . I’m going try and not let that happen this time and I'm actually going to start working on it …… soon ….. next month ……. maybe.
In other news-ish stuff, we got a few new visitors. To you I say welcome. Unfortunately you got to this site at a bad time ..... the dev stage. The content on it is near zilch ........ okay it is zilch, and while the old site had stuff I haven't had the time to transfer them across from the old server. So I apologize for the emptiness ^_^''. This site never really had any point or purpose to begin with so it's not too far of course (as one great man said "If you don't set goals ... you don't have to worry about keeping them" ......... not that it makes sense but hey I matches this site perfectly). So welcome again and I hope you stick around until we are done. More or less that's it....... so yah.
 

Okay it seems as though this layout has a few flaws so i am going to be redoing the whole thing …. soon. When i feel up to the task i’ll get started on it.

Well the anime streaming site was a good idea and i really wanted to do it, but due to server limitations, though it would be fine if someone either sponsored me or gave me free hosting with a lot of bandwidth and space XD. In other news i might be able to host manga as that is a lot less disk space and bandwidth intensive. Well that’s about it …… laterz.

Welcome to Martial Waking version 2 XD. After almost a year and a half of having the same layout and many promises of making a new one, i have finally finished the new face of MW ……… and it may very well stay this way for another year and a half ^_^'’. We have switched servers and webpage management systems but so far one thing has remained the same …………. the fact that this website does absolutely nothing and has no purpose whatsoever ………… Maybe i should work on that ^_^””’. Anyways this took about 1-2 months, kept getting sidetrack and by now i have lost track of how much time i spent creating it. Which brings me to the point that the amount of reworks i did on this design i also lost track of the version number, so that 2.7 is the closest number i could figure to be the version of the design XD. In anycase i have learned alot about web design in the space between the original creation of this site and now and many people have helped me along the way. Credits and thanks to all the people who helped make this design great will be placed in the “About the Site” page when i finish. Well that’s about it and i hope you enjoy the design. I worked hard on it so ya’d better 0_o.

Well this is just an update in the Martial Waking site chronicles. As you can see we have a new host and so far it seems to be the most competent if not sometimes a little slow. We are sporting a new theme that when done will be know as *cue suspense-ish music * “Martial Waking v2.0 : L33t NINJ4 Edition”. Yeah you know it sounds AWESOME. Anyways it’s mostly been school, wasting time, anime, wasting time, work and wasting time (Is it just me or do i seem to be wasting alot of time ). The layout is coming along nicely and believe me (dattebayo hehehe) when i say that the one you are looking at now is nothing compared to the prototype that is on my laptop now ^_^, but you guys are only gonna see the completed version. So you are just going to have to wait and see . Anyways i am tired and as usual it’s because i’m late and i got a midterm tomorrow so i’m going back to “studying”.

{nl} I’ve been saying for almost 6 months now that i was going to redo the face of this site and i have never actually gotten around to doing it. Lately though a friend of minewas telling me that the wb design world is going towards Content Management Systems. Although i knew he was right, i still liked coding web sites from scratch even though i sometimes weavve a cms into it (like the cutenews cms you are reading now, what is bringing you this mostly useless rant ) In anycase i decided i would try one of them and after going trough a few of them i decided on one JAF-CMS. although it was a pain to set up on my remote web sever (come on it gave a blank after i changed the name and title of the page as well as a few other headaches) but the main reason i stuck with it was that it was the easiest one to use/code/recode/hack/repair and modify out of all of them due to it’s simple make up and design. After working out the bugs and modifying it to do what i wanted it to, it has impressed me with it’s usefullness. I still have a few things to work on but it’s good as is. Now about the *temporary* part, although it’s awesome i’m still gonna be building a new layout over the christmas. So this is an excuse to say “but i did make a new layout “. In anycase lookout for that new layout soon. Hopefull it will be as good as i imagine. urk wak
